I understand that DTF is the popular place with the long lines but also understand, it's not the best. So why wait on long lines for mediocre food?
Lakai,
I think you might have two restaurants mixed up. Your reason for editing the post was:
Reason: Actually, the resturant changed its name. It appears that you went to the one I was talking about. I like the small place next door better though.
I think you did not go to Supreme Dragon, you went to MEI LONG VILLAGE. Because MEI LONG VILLAGE is the restaurant that has the small place next door. The small place next door is called J & J Restaurant, which I have not tried yet but will try this week.
Supreme Dragon is:
18406 Colima Rd Ste E
ROwland Heights
http://www.yelp.com/biz/supreme-dragon-rowland-heights
Mei Long Village
301 W Valley Blvd
Ste 112
San Gabriel, CA
http://www.yelp.com/biz/mei-long-vil...ery:mei%20long
J & J Restuarant (in the same strip mall as Mei Long) This is the small restaurant you mentioned:
301 W Valley Blvd. STE 112
San Gabriel, CA
http://www.yelp.com/biz/j-and-j-rest...S3pQ/query:XLB
Mei Long Village and J&J are two doors apart in a strip mall with underground parking.
They are both located at:
301 W Valley Blvd.
So I think you are a bit confused with the Supreme Dragon...

Supreme dragon used to occupy both mei long and j&j. It used to be one resturant but last time I went I noticed it was gone and went to the smaller one (which apparently is what remains of dragon.) . J&J has really good pork chop rice. Next time you go, I recommend you get that. It was pretty cheap too.
