Angel Eyes Installation in a BMW X3

Step 1 is to obtain a good power source for the Angel Eyes. Below is a picture of the ECU. Here I tapped into the accessory power supply. This is what makes the angel eyes light up when the key is turn to position 2.

Relay, 12V power and ground.

Everything wired. Fingers crossed. It works!

Back of headlights

Everything removed from headlights.

I was scared shitless during this part. Headlight housing apart after baking in oven @ 200F

Amber reflector removed.

I used siliconII (operating temperature up to 400F) to glue on the angel eyes.

Housing back togeather. No more ugly amber reflector!

Final product

I also have a video of the angel eyes lighting up when I unlock the car and dimming when I lock the car. See night time video or day time video
Enjoy!!
