While you are at the BMW parts counter, get the pins for the housing. They are available pre-wired with sealing grommets but the wiring is very thin. There are two sizes of plugs as shown above. If you are retro-fitting Xenon’s then you did not have the self leveling (Vertical Aim) then you do not need wires for pins 8 – 12. Those are used for the feed from the computer to the bi-polar self leveling stepper motors. See below for details.
