I got many requests about this, so here it is:

Total time: 15 minutes or less.
2007 X5 (E70) uses H11 bulbs.
NO TOOLS REQUIRED!!

1. Remove the cover by pulling down the top and out on the silver trim piece. Start from outside of the car and move in. You will need to wiggle it to loosen the three hooks on top and make sure you keep the bottom in.

2. Do the same towards inside of the cover.

3. The cover should now come out.

4. Reach behind and feel for the harness. Press the clip on BOTH sides to release harness.

5. Turn buld clockwise and pull out bulb.

To Install:

1. Place bulb inside the lamp and turn counter-clockwise

2. Plug in the harness and make sure it clicks!

3. Place cover on the bumper BOTTOM first. Make sure the tabs on the bottom of the cover goes in first behind the bump's lip and press the three hooks on top.

I bought them here: http://www.automotivelightingusa.com
