I am trying to find some info and get some pics of the hitch in this link. (in contact with the company now) If it is indeed "genuine BMW" meaning the OEM hitch, they have some of the last in the country. If they are at least better than the rest of the aftermarkets, and I see as acceptable, I will post a thread about it for the rest of us who need hitches.

I don't think ECS has any. I called and they said they have to order the hitch kit. Which means they are in the same boat as everyone else.
