I have a trailer hitch and corresponding electronics removed from a 2004 X5 with 21K miles on it (new owner didn't want the hitch). It has been used, but is in fantastic condition. As I mentioned before, all of the wires and harnesses are included as well. I can take pictures on request.

It's really heavy, so I would MUCH prefer a local buyer.

where are you located?

His location shows Boston. Hitch is very heavy, trust me, and almost 6 feet long box. Anything other than local pick-up, you will be paying more than dealer price. Unless off-course you get it for a throw away price, which I don't think happens.

I mean, I guess I could go a bit lower, but not a whole lot. It might make sense for you to look for one for sale closer to you.

Whatever is closer is never OEM so I don't have too many options
although I've been trying to find a reason to go to Boston for a longer time now so that would kill 2 birds with one stone
