Would the 4.6iS rotors interfere (clearence) with a winter setup i.e. 18" style 74 wheels? I have the 87's for a summer setup so that is a no brainer.
I would be interested in them if they could.

Let me ask my mechanic and I'll get back to you.
Other than having to purchase new rotors & pads, do you know if it is a straight swap-out with the 4.4 brake setup? Would you know if the brake hydralics are performance on the 4.6iS? |

I believe the brake setups are the same as far as the hydraulics and should be a direct bolt up.
For rotors you might consider the cross drilled rotors from SP Performance about $500 for the four. For brake pads definitely go with the Axxis Deluxe. The organic compound has virtually zero brake dust. I can also check with NHT to see if they will give you the same deal on rebuilding / powdercoating the calipers that I got. They did a beautiful job. While the calipers worked well when removed I would either have them rebuilt or checked out by a mechanic just to be safe!! NHT charged me $450 to powdercoat / rebuild & ship. Let me know your thoughts!! |
