For Sale, in perfect condition AFE Cold Air intake kit that came off my 2005 4.8is. I returned the car(lease) and had this kit laying around, when I finally realized I should probably sell it..

This kit will give your X5 a nice growling/screaming sound at higher rpms at Wide open throttle, and id say gives you a bit more power after 4.5k rpms, could be just the nice growl though makes it sound amazing in my opinion.

This kit is kept in perfect condition, by that I mean I wiped down the heat-shield almost every time I washed the car and the filter was changed twice, I never really wanted to clean/wash the air filter, so I just purchased a new one. The filter that you will be getting probably has 10,000miles on it, not more. As you can see its still kinda of bluish, and isnt dirty and or completely black


This kit comes with what you see in the picture, and is really easy to install, took me about an hour at most, to install and to remove.

Plus I dont know how to install it...It also states for 00-05 and 4.4-4.8L. Will it even fit my car?

Does it do anything to the warranty, ie to you have to remove it for warranty service..just wondering..

Just bought this from another X5World member today.
Here is some info that might help your sale.

1)it will not fit your 3.0i
2)installation is very easy ( scale 1---10 ) for me i say 1 on the scale.
3)if you have air MASS fail or anythings invole in the intake or fuel system it will void the warranty.( remove it befor get the service done)
4)If you want axtra HP for 3.0 you need to go for supercharge
5) the company always say it will Increases horsepower & torque
but for me it no promise effect.(included my k&n system in my X right now)

I had the same one on my 4.4 and went back to stock. The reason? No HP gain at all and the roar isn't that much of a difference. You will see once you installed it.
