This is a BMW OEM part made to fit E53 X5's. It is BRAND NEW and UNUSED. It is a durable black plastic that fits on tip of the rear bumper to protect it from scratches and scrapes. It comes in the original BMW box with everything needed to install it. The usual "deal" price on eBay, etc, for this item is $35.

It is FREE if you become a Premier Member. If someone wants this, they can have it by buying a Premier Membership here. I will cover shipping to the lower 48 states. The Premier Membership is something you should pay for anyway. If you're like most everyone here, this site has saved you tons of time and money. We don't ask for anyone to pay to be a member but it is appreciated and Premier Membership status recognizes contributions. So look at it is something that you should have done anyway and the bumper protection is a bonus. Yes you did. I'm doing the same thing with some E36 lights. Cut and paste with a poor proof reading job.

how does it stay in place? clips? is it easy to install?

It has adhesive on the back. I put one of these protectors on my X5 over 3 years ago, and it is still looking great. No issues with it at all, and I am glad I have it. For PNG to be giving one away is a great thing. Somebody needs to grab this and RUN!
