The best practice would be to wrap all exposed wires with tape - and use a LIGHT spray hose..

Did you really H.P. spray the motor then try start it?? IF you are going to spray the engine comp. with water: A. To be 100% safe-disconnect the battery. B. As mentioned cover any electronics and wires. C. Let everything DRY thoroughly before reconnecting battery OR starting the car. |
