Funny thing about that is there are a few places you can send a digital photo and they will print the photo directly to a canvas. You then have it stretched and mounted. Do some photo-shop brush effects to the photo prior to printing and wallah...You have a masterpiece.

They are all great, and I'm sure your sons portrait will come out spectacular and will remain on the wall when he has kids! But my favorite is the Jack Nicholson sketch!!! "HERE'S JOHNNY!"

I've started off by defining the edges, top of the head, lowest leg and edge of the chair to give me some boundary's to work from. As they say though...The devil is in the details. I'm estimating about 100 hours start to finish working on this about 2 hours a day.
