Updating NAV PRO in E61

Hi all,

since I'm new here please don't hammer me for my question.
I have a BMW E61 with the navigational system pro. I would like to update this. SO I have a new DVD (dual layer) with 2008-2 europe+speedcams. That dual-lyer dvd cannot be read by my nav. What should I do. Which OS should I use.

Kind regards for your advice,

shortie

You system can only be updated by the BMW dealer.

The updates happen over the diagnostic port, and many control units have to be updated at the same time so that the enitre computer network (vehicle) is at a known authorised revision level.

See your dealer.
