Tinting the windshield sounds like a good idea but I could never get away with it in California.
My Stealer wants over $60 with tax for the BMW sunshade, any better place to buy online?

You might be able to save a bit getting it from Morristown (see the parts forum) but the shipping might counter that.

For a well-built custom fit shade that will last, $60 doesn't seem excessive.

BTW, I haven't found the shade bulky or hard to put up. I'm not sure what the other posters are talking about. I've been using the same type for almost twenty years without problems.
