Smile Newbie Silly Question: what is IMO and OEM?

Hi All,

I am new to this portal and i am really glad i found it.

Just a silly question : What do IMO and OEM stand for. I read in some posts out here where people refer to it and i could not guess....

IMO = In My Opinion

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer. Refers to original parts from BMW, like BMW wheels or stock components, as compared to replica or after-market.

would not be only original BMW: Valeo, Bosch, Siemens etc. are all OEM suppliers, means these companys supply parts that are mounted originally into these cars; these companys could be at the same time OEM suppliers and deliver after market parts for other cars.
