August Shutdown?

Does anybody know if the SC plant shuts down in August? I'm pretty sure the plants in Germany do for the summer holiday/re-tooling. Any ideas if the same happens here in the US? Thanks!

Jim

What I mean't was that in sept or Nov they retool to do their revisions, it seems Nov production vehicles always seem to have new options available or become standard items.

Soft close doors
Auto park brake release
etc

It's after September. BMW holds roadsterfest at the factory in September and I've always seen the production line running when I attend.
